One point that is worth mentioning with regard to Composting is that currently and ever since BioValora was set up, its support team has been a member of both the Spanish Composting Network (Red Española de Compostaje), and the “European Composting Network”. Furthermore the experience acquired in this field through research projects and the contacts made with numerous companies in the area, including AJEMSA, owner of “Las Calandrias” Composting and recycling plant in Jerez de la Frontera, and companies such as SUFI S.A. and Verinsur that make up part of the temporary consortium known as Unión Temporal de Empresas (UTE) that run the aforementioned Composting plant.

The business relations established between BioValora and other national and international Research Centres and Research Groups from different Universities have also complemented the company’s “know-how”. The Research Group members´ international visits to Cornell University (EEUU), Newcastle (United Kingdom), “Instituto Nacional de Engenharia, Tecnología e Innovaçao (INETI)” in Portugal and “School of Civil Engineering and the Environment” at Southampton University (United Kingdom) have also been valuable.
